Way too much forced diversity and representation.

Dropped it after getting halfway through the 6th episode. It gets really preachy and political. In what is supposed to be a single day, we are given an abortion storyline, a transgender storyline, a racist storyline, and an anti-vaxxer storyline. Every time it promotes the leftist opinion. Given how it was going, sure it gets worse and more blatant.

"The Pitt" brings back Noah Wyle to the kind of setting that made him a television icon, but this time with a fresh approach. Instead of simply replicating ER, the series carves its own identity by portraying a grittier and more intense emergency room environment. The hospital feels chaotic and relentless, perfectly reflecting the stress and exhaustion of its characters. Wyle shines as Robby, a veteran doctor navigating a grueling 15-hour shift while juggling personal struggles and professional responsibilities. The series succeeds in capturing both the adrenaline of emergency medicine and the emotional toll it takes on those who work there. The supporting cast also delivers strong performances, making the relationships between doctors, nurses, and patients feel authentic. While some moments lean into classic medical drama tropes, The Pitt stands out thanks to its raw energy and its unfiltered portrayal of life in the ER. It’s gripping, well-acted, and emotionally engaging. Fans of intense hospital dramas will find plenty to appreciate here.

Only half way but it's a mixed bag. + Most casting acts at least on a 7/10 + They try to show gruesome stuff, all be it for a short bit + I absolutely love the "24" style where it's one continuous story, it allowes for a more direct character development - Some of the side characters are casted by 3/10 acting (some act worse than some pron I've seen) - Every episode is injected with diversity - Every episode is injected with social propaganda messaging (even when I agree with some of it, it's clearly done in a propaganda way where someone who disagrees will feel lectured) - Some of the propaganda is actually incorrect, this is the most troublesome... Having opinions is one thing, having doctors make statements that are widely proven to be incorrect is ridiculous. I feel like the show was written well... And then some Karen wife from the producer came in and forced some BS in there. You can also play diversity bingo each episode: I legitimately don't mind showing all races, genders and whatnot... But cmon, transgender, mixed relationships, gay birth, mixed friendship moms (a dude is called a mom), all women are boss girls, all white men (aside from the dude on the cover) are clumsy idiots used for comic relief. It's not what is shown, it's the quantity and way it is shown. All that said, it's still a 7/10...probably a 8 if you are blind to propaganda.
