Outlander (2014)
Claire Randall, una donna sposata e un’infermiera della Seconda Guerra Mondiale, finisce misteriosamente in un’epoca passata, nel 1743, dove resta coinvolta velocemente in un mondo a lei estraneo ed eventi che mettono in pericolo la sua vita. Quando è costretta a sposare Jamie, un giovane guerriero scozzese galante e romantico, Claire è inebriata da questo nuovo amore passionale, il quale però si contrappone al suo primo matrimonio con Frank. Starts out as a high quality romantic adventure show, slowly degenerates into soft core porn, then into torture porn, then gay torture porn, and that's when I stopped watching
This is one hell of a serie and Tobias Menzies plays such a role...that sixth episode... god! so good! I started to read the books after the first part of the season, because I was so desperate to know how the story would continue...I didn't have any expectations of the book quality, but I was surprise to learn how extraordinary it is :P I'm really enjoying Gabaldon's writting and I think it's amazing how she's manage to give the book a historical accuracy.
I rate it "can't go wrong with a kidnapping every two episodes " out of ten
I loved the books long before the series and was fine with the initial casting, but good God... a few seasons later and I am *still* not over the actress choice made for Brianna.... she's atrocious, to the point that I want to fast forward through any scenes she's in! Season 5 is fairly Bri/Roger heavy and I just want them to go back to the future already so I don't have to watch her anymore!!!
