MMA legend Patton James, now a commercial fisherman, is pulled back into the cage when his brother is in danger. Reuniting with his old coach Sammy, he commits to one final fight in one championship against the brutal champion Xavier Grau.
babe wake up, new movie that’s gonna be my new personality for the next few months just dropped.
I wasn’t expecting an Aussie fight film to go this hard. I would love Russell Crowe yelling at me to breathe as part of therapy.
I was in a small town with nothing to do, so killed an evening by going to the nearest AMC. I was enticed by this because I liked the idea of a B-movie set in the world of MMA that featured Russell Crowe as the crusty old trainer. Boy, it sure hit the spot. If you're in the mood for a meat-n-potatoes Rocky clone, you could do a lot worse than this. Sometimes it's great to see a Normal Movie.
Only watched cause of Russell Crowe. it can be viewed calmly without any surprises but before launching Beast, i knew full well that nothing will ever top Warrior (2011) as the best MMA movie. « I accepted this fight just for the money. »« Hard work is done, now comes the fun »
